Wintering Within

On Embracing Nature's Rhythm and Feminine Intelligence

A Season That Turns Us Inward

As we enter the end of the year in the northern hemisphere, nature is shifting into her wintering time. She is asking us to return deeper into our inner selves. And I feel that same movement inside myself.
A natural slowing. A gentle turning inward.

Not to withdraw… but to tend the seed unfolding beneath the surface.

Growth Begins in the Quiet

This season always reminds me that growth doesn’t begin in the light.
It begins in the quiet, the unseen, in the the dark spaces beneath the surface where new seeds form long before anyone can name them.
I know this intimately.
I have witnessed it countless times.

Over the last decade, walking my own quiet, healing, intimate path of healing, awakening and aligning, I’ve learned that “becoming” takes time — and each layer takes you deeper into the truth of who you truly are.

It unfolds again and again, quietly, patiently.

Permission to Slow Down

No hustling. No rushing.

Because even when the outer world is speeding up, pushing harder, running on pressure and our minds drowning in distractions…
… even if our brains are being bombarded with all the noise competing for our attention…
… and even if contemporary society makes us believe we’re falling behind unless we chase to have more and speed up…
… it’s no wonder we feel depleted, disconnected, empty and oftentimes depressed and lonely as we move into winter.

Yet, our bodies and hearts know another way.

Choosing Another Rhythm

Feminine wisdom follows a different intelligence: the power in pausing, retreating, shedding, listening, reflecting, nurturing, restoring, coming back to our truth… while the world outside is rushing.

We have to claim it for ourselves, and choose ourselves again, not from ego, but from truth.
No one else will give us this permission.
So, as we enter this time of the year, I’m giving myself permission to follow the cyclical nature.
I’m choosing another rhythm. Letting nature’s pace guide me back to myself, and to what wants to be. This is the wisdom of the feminine.
This is something I’ve learned deeply and often times the hard way on my own journey of reclaiming my sovereignity.

Are you sensing this pull towards yourself too?
What wants space to grow in you this wintering season?
